Working under the direction of the
Courtland High School Band Director
and Staff, we will assist the students in
getting where they need to be, with
everything they need, and on time. In all
that we do, we will make the safety of the
students our top priority.
The Pit crew is extremely important to the success of our band. Pit crew will help load, unload and move instruments and props for our performances.
This is also where you can sign up to pull our trailer if you are able to do so.
Part of the recipe to our successful band program is our out-of-this-world Hospitality Team! They are the crew behind the scenes, making sure our talented musicians are properly fueled and hydrated throughout their busy season. From the intense focus of band camp to the thrill of football games and weekend competitions, our Hospitality Team keeps them energized to perform their best.
It takes an army of volunteers to help get our 70+ band students ready and transported to games or competitions; whether it’s parents measuring/assigning student uniforms, to pit crew in getting on the field and transporting instruments and props, or feeding the crew before a game. If every band parent signs up for one or two opportunities, we have all the bases covered. As the saying goes, “Many hands make light work!”
Volunteer and chaperone opportunities are sent out via Band App. Thank you for your support!
